ALG FİLO KİRALAMA A.Ş. CLARIFICATION TEXT ON THE PROTECTION AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
1. Data Controller
Your personal data may be processed by ALG Filo Kiralama A.Ş. in its capacity as Data Controller and by the Lessor ("Company") specified in the General Terms and Conditions of the Car Rental Agreement, in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 ("Law") within the scope explained below.
2. Processed Personal Data
Within the scope of your rental relationship with ALG Filo Kiralama A.Ş., the following personal data of yours are processed:
- Your Identity Information: Name and surname, place of birth, date of birth, age, identity card, driver's license information and copy, T.C. identity number, passport information and copy for foreign customers.
- Your Contact Information: Address, e-mail, telephone, mobile phone, residence.
- Your Financial Information: Bank account number, IBAN number, credit card information, findeks information.
- Other: Location information in case of receiving roadside assistance services or if there is a vehicle tracking device in the vehicle, signature.
3. Purposes of Processing Your Personal Data
In the event that the contract is concluded, your personal data is processed in accordance with the general principles stipulated in the Law; for the purposes of carrying out the commercial activities conducted by the Company in compliance with the legislation and Company policies (reporting, information retention, information obligations, and legal obligations prescribed by official institutions), managing organization and event management, customer relations, and corporate communication processes, and ensuring the commercial and legal security of the persons with whom the Company has a business relationship, in a lawful, fair, relevant, limited, and proportionate manner.
4. Purposes of Transferring Personal Data
Your processed personal data is transferred, in accordance with the conditions in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law, to legally authorized public institutions, judicial and administrative authorities, private law persons permitted by legislation, institutions and organizations authorized to audit the Company, contracted payment institutions, business partners, and when necessary, to its suppliers, by taking the data security measures specified in the Law.
5. Method and Legal Reason for Collecting Personal Data
Your personal data may be collected through fully or partially automated means, or non-automated methods as part of a data recording system; via physical printed forms and electronically through the internet, cookies, online forms, and SMS verification codes. The data is processed based on the legal grounds of Article 5/1 (explicit consent), 5/2-b (explicitly provided for in the laws), 5/2-ç (legal obligation), 5/2-c (establishment/performance of the contract), 5/2-d (made public by the data subject), and 5/2-f (legitimate interest) of the Law.
6. Rights of Data Subjects Under the Law
As the Data Subject, by applying to ALG Filo Kiralama A.Ş., you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information if processed, to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with its purpose, to know the third parties to whom it is transferred, to request correction if it is incompletely or incorrectly processed, to request its deletion or destruction within the framework of Article 7 of the Law, to request notification of the operations carried out to third parties to whom it is transferred, to object to any result against you arising exclusively from automated analysis, and to demand compensation for damages due to unlawful processing.
You can submit your requests by filling out the application form to be obtained from the Company, with your wet signature, through a notary public, by registered mail with return receipt, by personal application, or by signing with your mobile/secure electronic signature and sending it to [email protected] from your KEP or registered e-mail address in the system. A written response to the request is free of charge up to ten pages; a transaction fee of 10 TL is charged for each page over ten pages. If the response is provided in a recording medium such as a CD/flash memory, the fee cannot exceed the cost of the recording medium.
